Various class competitions like Recitation, Elocution, Drawing, Colouring etc and Inter class competition like Patriotic song singing etc , motivates children and drives them to put forth their efforts.
Parents competitions provides great opportunity to develop a healthy and strong relationship with school, teachers and for the holistic development of a child.
Celebration of different festivals bring children close to each other’s cultural beliefs, traditions, they develop respect and understanding for each other’s custom and Patriotism is instilled in the little minds.
Primary Section
Academics and co-curricular activities go hand – in – hand. We, at Sharada Gyanpeeth International School always try to strike a balance between academics and co-curricular activities, keeping the overall development of our children the ultimate goal.
All the Primary Section students get an opportunity to display their talents through various activities, be it sports, music, dance, art, craft, etc..
Dance
“Dance is the hidden language of the soul.” Dance is a form of exercise with many benefits like strong muscles, weight control, reduced stress and healthier brain. Students get highly benefited by all these things in the school. Apart from these benefits students also learn teamwork. Dance also boosts the confidence in children.
Music
Music plays a unique and crucial role in the holistic development of children. In our school music education is given equal importance and students learn music from a very young age.
Sports
Sports develop the physical as well as mental strength in students. Regular classes of physical education happen in school, where students learn different games, yoga and athletics.
Inter-House Competitions
Theme based competitions are held every month. All the students are encouraged to participate in these competition where the students of all houses (Tilak, Tagore, Gandhi and Nehru) compete with each other. These competitions help our students to compete with their friends in a healthy way and also inculcate competitive spirit among them.

First Aid Kit Making Competition on the occasion of World Doctor’s Day.
Quilling Rakhi Making Competition on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan
Poetry Recitation Competition, Reading Competition, Handwriting Competition to name a few.
Inter-School Competitions
Apart from various in-house activities, we also give our students an exposure to the world beyond their own school. They get an opportunity to participate in various inter-school competitions and also in several competitive exams like the National Level Olympiad Exams.
Picnic and Field Trips
Picnics and field trips are organized by the school every year. These are educational cum recreational trips and we make sure that children take back a lot of fun memories as well as learnings from them.
Celebrations
Festivals are special days to celebrate tradition, culture and heritage. All the festivals are celebrated in school to provide the younger generation with knowledge about our legends. In this way students learn to appreciate the culture and tradition of our country. Along with these we also have Sports Day and Annual Day Celebrations.
No Bag Day
In a refreshing shift from routine academics, Sharada Gyanpeeth International School observed a “No Bag Day” filled with creativity, hands on activities and character-building. The initiative aimed to reduce academic stress while encouraging experiential and skill-based learning among students.
The students of Primary and Secondary section participated in English and Marathi Handwriting Competition to highlight on clear and expressive writing in both languages.
Various activities like Drawing Competition , Hindi Doha Recitation, Importance of Cleanliness , Elocution competition, English Creative Writing Competition were also organized. Additionally, Life Skills Session on the theme “Brave Conversations”, was conducted by school counsellor to encourage students to express themselves openly and to manage healthy communication habits.
‘No Bag Day is more than just a break from books. It is an opportunity to develop essential life skills, explore creativity, and make learning more holistic’.
Say No to Junk Food, Say No to Sugar
A special assembly was conducted by the students of Primary & Secondary Section on the theme ,’Say No to Junk Food, Say No to Sugar’. During the assembly, various programmes like skits were performed in English and Hindi highlighting the harmful effects of junk food and ill-effects of sugar on health which focussed on how high intake of sugar can lead to Obesity, dental issues , diabetes and other lifestyle issues.
